Martial Arts Terminology

Given that we are learning a traditional Korean martial art, it makes sense that we also embrace the culture and language associated with Kuk Sool Won™. Students will hear instructors use Korean words and phrases regularly in classes and in order to aid your learning, we have included some of the language we use in our classes below.

Korean language is a part of our training, just as our physical training is and as martial artists we should strive to improve in all aspects of life. Remember – martial arts training is about mind, body and spirit!
